According to a survey on online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, 69 percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they would stop shopping online because they prefer shopping in a physical store and being able to inspect the product before buying. In comparison, 13 percent of respondents stated that they wanted to support physical stores since online shopping has become very popular.
