According to a survey on online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, 91 percent of respondents in the Philippines aged between 16 and 34 years stated that they used smartphones for online shopping in the past three months. In comparison, 14 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older used tablets for online shopping.
