According to a survey on online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, 86 percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they shopped from e-commerce marketplaces in the past three months. Among the leading e-commerce marketplaces in the Philippines are Shopee, Lazada, and Zalora. In comparison, six percent of respondents shopped from C2C marketplaces.
