In 2022, mobile gaming apps generated approximately 12.5 billion U.S. dollars in revenues from consumers in the region. Mobile gaming revenues are projected to increase to almost 37 billion U.S. dollars by the end of 2026. Entertainment apps, which generated over 2.36 billion U.S. dollars in revenues from consumers in Europe in 2022, were the second highest-grossing mobile app category in the region. Health and fitness apps ranked third, with almost 2.2 billion U.S. dollars in revenues in the last examined year.
