As of the fourth quarter of 2023, there were around 105.2 million domestic bank cards and 41.9 million international bank cards in circulation in Vietnam, indicating an increase from the previous quarters of the year. Previously one of the most cash-dependent countries in Southeast Asia, Vietnam has seen substantial growth in cashless payment usage among its population in recent years.
