A January 2022 survey analyzed how frequently U.S consumers eat out at a restaurant. While 38 percent of people aged between 45 to 64 said they eat out at restaurants once a week or more, just 18 percent of interviewees aged 18 to 29 stated the same. Furthermore, 19 percent of those aged 18 to 29 claimed they never eat out at restaurants.
