According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online shopping behavior in India conducted in June 2022, 53 percent of female respondents preferred to shop in physical stores as they can inspect the products before buying them. By contrast, 28 percent of female respondents discontinued online shopping to support local brick-and-mortar shops.
