According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online shopping behavior in India conducted in June 2022, 54 percent of consumers in the age groups of 35 to 44 years old are likely to choose online shopping in the future. By contrast, 10 percent of consumers in the age group of 35 to 44 years old would prefer physical stores shopping for their future purchases.

15,687 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
9,509 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
4,002 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
1,491 respondents aged 45 to 54 years old,
747 respondents aged 55 years and above.
