A survey conducted in Côte d'Ivoire in 2022 showed that Coca Cola was the preferred carbonated drinks' brand. In fact, 75 percent of respondents preferred Coca Cola, compared to 14 percent of respondents expressing their preference for Pepsi. The two giants of the soft drinks industry have a long history of global competition. Furthermore, the presence of the Coca Cola company has grown rapidly in Africa in recent years.
