According to a 2022 survey, 54 percent of game development studios in Brazil claimed that digital download stores or platforms were their most common distribution routes for their games. Mobile app stores or platforms had similar importance for 52 percent of the developers, while brick-and-mortar stores, streaming, and other channels were among the least common means to distribute such products. Brazil is the leading gaming market in Latin America, with a revenue of around 1.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2022.
