In 2022, a survey conducted in Botswana showed that 87 percent of respondents preferred Coca Cola to Pepsi. Conversely, six percent of people said that they preferred Pepsi. The two giants of the soft drinks industry have a long history of global competition. Furthermore, the Coca Cola company has had higher growth in African than in Western markets in recent years.
