In 2021, an estimated 63 percent of children under 15 that were eligible for antiretroviral therapy received ART in Haiti, the highest coverage for this treatment among children in Latin America and the Caribbean. That same year, 60 percent of minors in need of the treatment in Ecuador received antiretrovirals, while in Guyana, less than 20 percent of eligible children accessed the therapy.
