According to a survey on online shopping behavior in Taiwan conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, respectively 94 and 91 percent of female and male respondents who shopped online said they used e-commerce marketplaces. Meanwhile, about 19 percent of surveyed female online shoppers said they bought things via social commerce.
