Share of writers New Zealand 2016-2020, by gender
A survey of 2020 revealed, the share of men writers in 2016 in New Zealand was the highest, amounting to 62 percent, whereas, the share of women writers was 37 percent in that year. Furthermore, the share of men writers saw a significant increase from 2019 to 2020, rising from 35.2 percent to 49.2 percent.
