In a survey conducted in Nigeria between July and August 2021, 71 percent of respondents indicated that, in the 12 months prior to being interviewed, there had been times they did not have enough money to buy food according to the needs of their family. The remaining 28 percent reported that they did not lack money to cater for their family in terms of food.
