According to a survey from 2023, Brazilian game development studios have produced 670 proprietary games and other 339 for third-party clients in 2022. This represents a total of 1,009 titles, an increase of 186 games from the previous year when responding companies had 643 self-produced titles and the other 339 made for other clients. In total, Brazil accounted 1,042 game development studios in 2023, with most of these enterprises located in the country's Southwest region.
