In 2023, the Southeast region of Brazil counted with 474 game development studios, representing 56 percent of studios in the country. The South followed with around 177 companies, representing a share of 20 percent of the country's gaming companies. In the same year, the number of game development studios in Brazil reached a record high of 1,042 companies, representing a growth of 177 percent from 2018. Brazil is the leading gaming market in Latin America, with a revenue of around 2.23 billion U.S. dollars in 2023.
