In 2022, the unemployment rate in Central Africa was higher among women (6.3 percent) than men (6.1 percent). The projection for 2023 showed a similar trend, though the rate would be lower for both genders. Furthermore, female unemployment has been higher from 2018 onwards, while 2017 recorded the same rate for both men and women.
