According to a study conducted in the United States in 2021, media personality Kylie Jenner gained 86 million new followers on Instagram in 2021, growing her account by 42 percent. Jenner's engagement rate on the platform stood at 2.55 percent. Actress and singer Selena Gomez gained 82 million followers compared to the corresponding month the years prior, a growth rate of 41 percent. Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian ranked third and fourth in terms of Instagram follower growth, respectively.
