In 2021, approximately 62 percent of people who didn't shop online in Belgium said they didn't do so as they preferred buying in person, either because they like to see the product, are loyal to a store, or simply out of habit. In addition, nearly a fifth (18 percent) of respondents said they did not engage in e-commerce out of concern for payment security or privacy.
