Tea sales volume share in Russia 2021-2022, by channel and package size
Between April 2021 and March 2022, packages between 200 grams and 249 grams were the most popular form of size for tea in Russia, occupying a 45 percent share of sales in the online channel and a 40 percent share of sales in the offline channel. Larger packages were more frequently bought online, with nearly five percent of tea sales in the online segment coming from over 500-gram packages, as opposed to 0.3 percent in the same category offline. Tea in packages between 125 and 149 grams was the least popular choice among consumers in Russia.
