The coronavirus pandemic has affected the traditional working environment of capital market firms worldwide leading to the wider application of cloud technology. According to 67 percent of respondents in a survey conducted in 2021, the coronavirus has shown the importance of cloud usage when improving firm processes. Cloud technology was also considered to be an important factor when improving user experience by 63 percent of experts. Overall investment has increased as 52 percent of experts noted increased spending on cloud-related activities/technology.
