In 2021, the number of Chinese workers in Egypt amounted to 5,020. This represented a significant increase from 1,891 people the previous year. During the reviewed period, the number of employed individuals with Chinese nationality in the country fluctuated significantly. For instance, in 2014, only 185 Chinese individuals were registered as working in Egypt. However, the number largely increased one year later, peaking at just over 2,300 people.
