According to a survey on pet ownership conducted by Rakuten Insight in January 2022, around 65.8 percent of Thai pet owners answered that they mainly purchased their pet products from a specialty pet store. Supermarkets or convenience stores were also preferred sources of pet products purchased by the owners. The same survey revealed that 71 percent of Thais owned at least one pet.
