According to a survey conducted by India's fifth National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) in 2021 stated that the highest alcohol consumption was among men, with a share of about 59 percent in Goa, India. The second highest alcohol consumption among men was in Arunachal Pradesh with a share of about 57 percent.
