TikTok has increased its lobbying efforts, going from spending one million euros in 2020 to an approximate 2.3 million euros in the last reported year. The popular social media and short-video company has been directing its lobbying efforts toward the European Democracy Action Plan and the Digital Services Act (DSV) among other initiatives.
