Consumer participation in circular practices in the past 12 months worldwide in 2021
The most common way consumers engaged with the circular economy, according to a 2021 survey, is with products with recycled properties. Almost half of respondents had bought a new product with recycled properties in the previous 12 months. Only around 15 percent of repondents had rented a product instead of buying it to own permanently.
