According to a survey about sustainable consumption conducted by Rakuten Insight in Hong Kong in December 2023, around 44 percent of respondents who did not adopt any sustainable practices when purchasing items in the past 12 months said it was too expensive to do so. Additionally, 31 percent stated that they did not have enough information on hand to make sustainable choices.
