According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, approximately 33 percent of the respondents in Malaysia stated that making sustainable and environmentally friendly products more affordable would encourage them to adopt more sustainable consumption practices. The same survey revealed that the reason why most respondents did not adopt sustainable practices was because it was too expensive.
