In 2023, the Bilbao regasification plant produced some 62.9 terawatt-hours of natural gas, becoming Spain's highest producing plant. This figure represented a small increase when compared to the previous year. Mugardos, by contrast, produced around 27.7 terawatt-hours of natural gas in 2023, also increasing in comparison with the previous year.
