Four out of ten Romanians aged from 19 to 21 years planned to start working after graduation, according to a survey from July 2021. About three out of ten 16-to-18-year olds wanted to continue studying at home, whereas slightly over 10 percent of the survey respondents in the same age group intended to study abroad.
