Rate of pet ownership China 2022, by age
According to a survey on pet ownership conducted by Rakuten Insight in January 2022, around 54 percent of respondents between 25 and 34 years old in China stated that they own at least one pet at the moment, while only a quarter of respondents above 55 years old said the same. In comparison, about 23 percent of respondents aged between 25 and 34 years mentioned that they had pets before, but not anymore.
