In April 2023, install rates for overall iOS apps using subscriptions were down to 6.45 percent, an increase of 6.6 percent compared to January 2022. iOS subscription gaming app installs registered an install rate of approximately 5.7 percent in April 2023. The App Tracking Transparency (ATT) protocol introduced by Apple at the end of April 2021 might have impacted reporting on app install trends as users were able to decide whether to share their data with app publishers.
