The share of employees in the U.S. workforce of the Bank of New York Mellon who identified as white decreased slightly between 2019 and 2022. In 2022, 62.7 percent of the employees were white. The second largest racial group in the workforce was Asian at 17.4 percent, followed by Black or African American at 10.6 percent, and Hispanic or Latino at seven percent.
