According to a survey from July 2021, the majority of Gen Z representatives in Romania spent from four to eight hours per day in front of a TV, phone, or a laptop. The share of those spending more than 12 hours per day in front of screens exceeded 10 percent.
The respondents were asked to indicate the amount of time they spent in front of TV, phone, laptop, or other screens per day on average.
The source specified that the sample is representative by gender and regions of Romania. Both urban and rural population was surveyed.
