Reasons for not adopting sustainable consumption habits Singapore 2023, by gender

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023 in Singapore, around 43 percent of female consumers and about 40 percent of male consumers who did not practice sustainable consumption stated that they did not do so because it is too expensive. The same survey found that around 31 percent of Singaporean respondents did not adopt sustainable consumption practices when purchasing goods.
