According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023, around 43 percent of Singapore consumers aged between 16 and 24 years stated that the reason for not adopting sustainable consumption practices was because it is too expensive. In comparison, around 30 percent of the respondents aged 55 and older stated that it was because they did not have enough information on hand to make sustainable choices.
