According to a survey on sustainable consumption in Indonesia conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023, approximately 44 percent of respondents who did not adopt sustainable practices in the past year stated that they did not do so because it was difficult to get sustainable or environmental-friendly products in their areas. The same survey also revealed that making products more affordable would encourage them to adopt more sustainable consumption practices.
