In October 2023, the inflation rate of Mexico compared to the same month of the previous year reached 4.26 percentage points, the highest figure since, at least, the beginning of 2018. Jacona, in the State of Michoacán, registered the largest year-on-year increase in prices, with inflation reaching 6.27 percent.
