Due to increased inflation rates, many consumers around the world are worried about their financial situation in 2022. According to a study, more than 40 percent of surveyed consumers from 16 countries expect they will be spending more on utility bills this year, compared to previous years. Many also expect to spend more on personal care products as well as holidays.

Approximately 1,000 interviews were completed in each of the following markets: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, U.S., Brazil, Australia, Japan, Korea, China, and Mexico.
Approximately 500 interviews were completed in each of these markets: Singapore, UAE, New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia.
The source also states that the data has been weighted by age, gender, and region to be Census representative in all markets (except in UAE, where regions had not been weighted). In France, the data was also weighted to reflect social grade.
