Public support for gay marriage in Brazil 2024, by income

A survey conducted in Brazil in January 2024 found that respondents who earned up to two times the minimum wage were more likely to oppose same-sex marriage. Respondents who earned more than five times the minimum wage tended to be more supportive, with a total of 59 percent. The minimum wage guaranteed by law in Brazil stood at 1,412 Brazilian reals per month in 2024.
