In June 2022, registered voters in the United States were asked if they supported a law that would prevent app stores from taking a 15 to 30 percent commission from developers. In total, 12 percent of men and eight percent of women strongly supported such a low. However, for both men and women, the share of respondents who strongly opposed a law that prevented app stores of taking such a commission from developers was slightly higher than those who strongly supported it. A significant share of respondents did not know or have an opinion about Open Apps Market Act measures.
