JR East's profit FY 2015-2024

In the fiscal year 2024, East Japan Railways Company (JR East) announced a profit of approximately 196.45 billion Japanese yen, improving its performance from about 99.23 billion yen recorded in the previous fiscal year. JR East is the largest passenger railway company among the seven railway companies formerly belonging to the public Japanese National Railways. The company's railway system primarily serves the Kanto and Tohoku regions.
