Public opinion on main traits of Jair Bolsonaro 2021

A survey conducted in Brazil in December 2021 showed that 56 percent of respondents stated that Jair Bolsonaro was the presidential candidate that defends the rich the most, making it his most generally regarded attribute. Only 18 and 17 percent of those surveyed claimed that Bolsonaro was the candidate the most qualified to take care of the environment or that most defended the poor, respectively. By contrast, his opponent, Lula da Silva, was regarded as by two-thirds of respondents as the candidate that defended poor people the most.
