The source explains that data are based on online news users in Nigeria who are English speaking, more affluent, have attained higher formal education levels, and have higher probabilities to live in cities than the rest of the Nigerian population.
Respondents were scored on a 0-10-point scale, where 6-10 equaled trust, 0-4 equaled do not trust, and 5 equaled neither trust nor do not trust. Data exclude respondents who had not heard of the news brand.
