A January 2024 survey asked business travel professionals worldwide about the most significant issues faced by business travel. Overall, the rising costs of travel and economic concerns ranked as the main issues across all regions. Meanwhile, 58 percent of the sample in the Asia-Pacific region mentioned corporate budgets not keeping pace with needs as the main problem, whereas just 39 percent of respondents in Europe did the same.
