Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder common among children and adolescents that can be classified in different subtypes: combined, inattentive and hyperactive. In the Italian region of Lombardy, the combined subtype was the most common one, with almost 62 percent of children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD having this subtype between 2011 and 2021.
