A survey conducted in 2022 suggests that around 45 percent of businesses were happy with five years of GST while nearly 24 percent expressed dissatisfaction and rated it poorly.
GST (goods and services tax) is a consumption tax levied on supply of goods and services. It is comprehensive in nature and replaced host of other indirect taxes in India. It is applicable throughout the country.
