The role of salespeople still matters in the business-to-business (B2B) environment. According to a 2022 survey, 28 percent of professionals working in Scandinavian B2B companies believed digital sales could hardly replace personal sales, hindering B2B digital sales activities. Another 18 percent of respondents stated that B2B digital channels were difficult to integrate into the company's business strategy. According to 14 percent of surveyed professionals, launching B2B digital commerce conflicted with established procedures and practices already implemented in the company.
