During the first quarter of 2024, the social video platform TikTok prevented over 23.58 billion fake likes on its content due to inauthentic engagement and fake accounts activity. This represents an increase from the previous quarter, when the number of fake likes prevented was approximately 22.53 billion. Additionally, the platform prevented over six billion fake follower requests during the last measured quarter, up from the amount of prevented fake followers requests recorded in the fourth quarter of 2023.
