TikTok: fake engagement prevented 2021-2024

During the fourth quarter of 2024, the social video platform TikTok prevented over 10.47 billion fake likes on its content due to inauthentic engagement and fake accounts activity. This represents an increase from the previous quarter, when the number of fake likes prevented was approximately 8.44 billion. Additionally, the platform prevented over nine billion fake follower requests during the last measured quarter, up from the amount of prevented fake followers requests recorded in the third quarter of 2024.
